RGO Products Ltd. is growing and currently recruiting for a Sales Support and Development Representative to join our New Business Development team in the Office Furniture division. This position supports the sales process and focuses on maximizing the efficiency of the sales team to deliver accurate orders for the Operations Department to execute. The successful incumbent will play an integral part of the account relationship with RGO clients and must have strong client relationship skills, an aptitude for sales and marketing, and thrive in a fast-paced team driven environment!

Responsibilities:

Support Sales Process

  • Development of pricing, submission packages and manufacturer updating
  • Generation of quotations for clients and potential clients
  • Ensure the completion of sales checklist for projects
  • Respond to customer inquiries about their order
  • Review accuracy of quotes with sales
  • Act as secondary contact for clients or A&D to service customer (second point of contact for customer)
  • Run project ID’s report to review application

Basic Account Management

  • Develop tools to support the overall sales effort and report for customers
  • Work with the manufacturers to determine best products for A&D or end client
  • Liaise between sales, facilities, and client to manage project related data
  • Assist the completion of the Design Service Requests (DSR)

Order Management

  • Send purchase orders to vendors
  • Produce special order delivery tickets
  • Ensure exceptions in product, price or quantities are resolved
  • Investigate missing or late shipments
  • Run daily invoice report

Department Coordination

  • Scheduling orders with Operations
  • Work with the Project Coordinators to ensure delivery/installations charges are applied appropriately
  • Arrange for loaner/demo products for Clients
  • Utilize delivery planning tool
  • Manage library to have information up to date

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

  • Post-Secondary Education preferred
  • 1 -3 years in a similar role required
  • Knowledge of Hedberg or similar SAP databases an asset
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Positive optimistic approach to overcome obstacles in completion of tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Self-motivated and action orientated
  • Takes personal responsibility for actions
  • Capacity and desire to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to take control and lead through challenging situations
  • Proficient analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to liaise with internal staff and manufacturer partnerships in building a knowledge base and effective client communications.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills are required
  • Moderate Adobe Creative Suite skills are beneficial
