RGO Products Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Sales Support/Showroom Sales to join our New Business Development team in the Office Furniture division. This position focuses on maximizing the productivity, efficiency and professionalism of New Business sales operations at RGO though the maintenance and development of processes and proposals that aid in our sales efforts. We are looking for an energetic individual with excellent customer service skills, detailed oriented, creativity, an aptitude for sales and marketing and thrive in a fast-paced team driven environment.

Responsibilities:

RFP/Tender responses

  • Review original RFP documentation to ensure thorough understanding of proposal requirements
  • Coordinate and compile responses to furniture and architectural products project proposal requests
  • Ensure all submitted proposal responses are on time, compliant, and accurate
  • Ensure that RGO staff is aware of and follows the RFP process; make recommendations for improvement to the process
  • Maintain and organize original, working, and final documentation related to proposals

Quotations

  • Develop pricing, submission packages and manufacturer updates
  • Generate quotes and review quotes with sales for accuracy
  • Ensure completion of sales checklist for projects
  • Respond to customer inquires about quote status, order status, delivery status, etc.
  • Review quotes with sales for accuracy
  • Act as secondary contact for clients or A&D to service customer (second point of contact for customer)

Basic Account Management

  • Develop tools to support the overall sales effort and report for customers
  • Work with the manufacturers to apply best products to suit budget requirements and applications either for Architecture & Design or end client
  • Liaise between sales, facilities, and client to manage project related data
  • Work in conjunction with the Accounting department to process customer credit application

Showroom Sales

  • Provide backup for the Showroom Sales team
  • Greet walk-in, and assist phone-in corporate and individual clients
  • Primary role is to assist customers in making informed decisions on their furniture needs
  • Learn and remain current on product information such as new product, prices, availability, inventory and ordering procedures
  • Prepare quotations and place orders in system

Customer Events

  • Assist and participate in the planning of customer events as required

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

  • Post-Secondary Education preferred (Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Communications is an asset)
  • 1+ years related experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Positive optimistic approach to overcome obstacles in completion of tasks; ability to take control and lead through challenging situations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Self-motivated and action orientated
  • Takes personal responsibility for actions
  • Analytical, multitasking, communication and organizational skills are required
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills are required
  • Moderate Adobe Creative Suite skills are beneficial
  • Ability to learn new programs with minimal training
