Position Type: Full-time, Casual (3-month term)

Shifts: Monday – Friday

RGO is currently recruiting is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team.  The Warehouse Worker works closely supporting RGO Flooring, Window Coverings, and Operations and will be required to perform any of the below tasks as directed by the Operations Supervisor.   They may be required to select orders, build, or assist with the building of items for display, sale or delivery to customers, unload and load shipments of product for RGO and for various internal and external customers and receive new, used, rental and loaner stock product ensuring that product is in good clean working order.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure orders are selected and prepared for display, sale, or delivery.
  • Ensure items being selected matches delivery ticket paperwork.
  • Ensure Warehouse Supervisor is alerted to items that cannot be found on a delivery ticket.
  • Ensure built or selected product is clean from all dust and is defect free.
  • Ensure new product that is built or selected is free from any markings, scratches, or chips and that After Market Service has provided attention to new product that is not in defect free condition.
  • Ensure familiarity with RGO’s handheld computers for the purpose of correctly inputting product data.
  • Load and unload shipments.
  • Direct incoming shipments to the appropriate areas of control, such as stock inventories.
  • Ensure that outgoing shipments are properly packaged and complete all necessary documentation for shipping.
  • Pull selected from stock and prepared for display or sale.
  • Ensure returned product is cleaned and functional.
  • Ensure all hardware goes along with product, as applicable.
  • Ensure Material Handling Equipment and tools are operated with due care and attention and are properly maintained and managed.
  • Ensure warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion and that all garbage is disposed of appropriately.
  • Ensure that timesheets are filled out daily and accurately and are handed in weekly.
  • Ensure that picking tickets are returned in a timely manner.
  • Support additional departments as required.
  • Ensure Material Handling Equipment and tools are operated with due care and attention and are properly maintained and managed.

Qualifications:

  • Good building skills.
  • Fork and lift truck knowledge & experience
  • Good use of time management
  • Some computer skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills applicable to working in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100lbs and successfully pass a pre-employment health assessment.
  • Proof of full immunization against COVID-19 is required.
